If you heard that ‘Celine Dion was rushed to the hospital’, then it’s just a bad rumour and it does not hold a bit of a truth. The “Titanic” singer who is expecting twin babies with husband Rene Angelil in the month of November, is reportedly hale and hearty, informs her representative.

“She’s never been in the hospital – her pregnancy continues to be healthy and she feels fantastic. As with most women expecting multiples, her doctor wants her to stay off her feet as much as possible as she finishes her pregnancy.

The representative says that the couple had been stressed because of this rumour, especially after knowing that Celine is perfectly fine. They even got calls from their near and dear ones asking about her pregnancy.

Celine and Rene have a school going boy, Rene – Charles and is in her last two months of pregnancy, following all the orders from the doctor to stay fit.

“An attempt to move O’Brien to a post-midnight slot drew his ire and he walked away with a settlement package believed to be worth $US45 million.”

65 year old actor Michael Douglas, has gone public about being diagnosed with throat cancer. He is optimistic that he will make a recovery.

According to the New York Daily News,
“The 65-year-old actor has opted to battle his tumor on three fronts –
surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. Any one of these treatments can
adversely affect the voice, experts say.” I certainly wish Michael
Douglas and his family the very best as he battles throat cancer.
Cancer is not a punishment for a specific sin of Douglas, or for anyone
else for that matter. However, it is a reminder that we live in world
cursed by sin.

Fox News reported that “Michael Douglas opened up to David Letterman about his recent diagnosis with throat cancer, saying he has an 80 percent chance of recovery.”

CBS News said, “‘You’ve never looked better to me, and this proves that you’re a tough guy, for God’s sakes,’ the talk-show host said, drawing cheers from the studio audience.

“‘Let’s just say … I’m pretty lit up right now,’ Douglas replied.

“The actor also talked about his chances for recovery.

“‘I am head and neck,’ Douglas said. ‘I am above the neck, so nothing’s gone down, and the expectations are good…”

The latest controversy has snatched away a film from the Pakistani cricketer Muhammad Asif’s hands. Asif was about to make his debut in the films through a regional film in India, according to the information provided by the director of the film.

The director also informed that the cricketer was scheduled to come to India in the next month for a 25 day shooting schedule of the film. Damodaran Namdoodiri had signed Asif for his directorial venture, a Malyali film called Mazhavillilinattamvare.

Damodaran said, “He is a friendly and nice guy. I was shocked to hear about the allegations, so I dropped him from the film.” He said that the cricketer had a major role to play in the film.  He was to portray his real life sports character in film.

Asif is currently undergoing an investigation for his alleged involvement in the spot-fixing that took place between Pakistan and England.
