Amitabh Bachchan Apologizes for Wife Jaya

Amitabh Bachchan apologized on the behalf of his wife Jaya Bachchan in a press conference. The Bachchans may not be everyone’s favourite film family these days however we here at Filmy Fair do hope political parties with their own agendas leave them alone!

“The remark that Jaya made was not meant to malign or hurt anybody or any group of people. Having said that, I would still make it clear that if even a single person is hurt by Jaya’s remark, we would apologise, rather, we should apologise,” Bachchan said.

“We had no intention of hurting anyone. Jaya didn’t say anything with malice,” he said. “If people feel that their sentiments have been hurt, we express our regret and we apologise.”

“We apologise and seek forgiveness. Thereafter, if the matter is still not settled, we have been told that there will be an investigation and we’ll wait for the investigation results. If we are found guilty of any crime, punish us,” Bachchan said.
