Amitabh Bachchan discharged from hospital

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan was on Friday discharged from Lilavati hospital where he was admitted last week following complaint of severe abdominal pain. Bachchan was admitted on his birthday, October 11.

Amitabh was complaining of severe abdominal pain and was diagnosed with incisional hernia.

The actor dressed in a white shirt and accompanied by his wife Jaya, son Abhishek and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai, left the hospital at around 1040 hours.

Bachchan had been admitted to the hospital in suburban Bandra on October 11.

Huge crowd of fans surrounded the hospital premises, many travelling extensively just to get a glimpse of the actor.
