Ayesha Takia quits Bollywood

A wedding has been announced of Bollywood actress Ayesha Takia and restaurateur-businessman Farhan Azmi. The two have been dating since long. The wedding is been fixed in January.  reports Times news network

Farhan told . “My sister is getting married on October 25, and I’m busy with that,” he said. “My own wedding, I will start working on soon after. I want to tell the world about my commitment to Ayesha. I love her and marriage is the next step.”

Ayesha, meanwhile, is busy completing her last three projects — Pathshaala, Nagesh Kukunoor’s Tasveer and Boney Kapoor’s Wanted Dead or Alive. She has informed her producers that she won’t shoot after marriage. “I have left the decision to work after marriage to Ayesha. She has always done sweet and enjoyable flicks. Never anything in bad taste. So I’m fine with whatever she chooses,” Farhan said sweetly.

Farhan’s a Muslim while Ayesha’s of mixed parentage: her father, Nishit, is Gujarati; her mother is half-British and half-Maharashtrian — an Anglo-Indian named Faridah.
