Abhishek Bachchan in 12th Asian Film Festival

In the 12th Asian Film Festival, Abhishek Bachchan(34) fans in UK will get a chance to meet their favorite star. This week Abhishek is flying to London for a series of events at Tongues on the Fire 12th Asian Film Festival.

From an interview it is known that Abhishek Bachchan, a festival on Friday, ceremonializing the cinematic achievements of one of the biggest Bollywood stars. Abhishek may visit London along with his wife Aishwarya Rai, the actress and former Miss World. The first lady of Bollywood Jaya Bachchan who received “A Lifetime Achievement Award” for her great contribution towards the ‘Indian Film Industry’, can also be seen in Gala Dinner at Sheraton Park Lane Hotel. This dinner will be followed by the event. Actor Rizwan Ahmed is said to be the moderator of Gala Dinner.

On the following day(March 6th), it is scheduled to deliver an Actor’s Masterclass to Abhishek Bachchan, who has been nominated for Filmfare awards for his roles in Guru, Bunty aur Bably and Dostana. This function takes place at the Apollo Cinema in London’s West End. The class says that it would be a great and rare opportunity the fans and anyone intrested in knowing what makes Abhishek Bachchan and his characters plays so successful. Abhishek discusses his journey as an actor and tactics he uses to prepare for his roles. Later the event will be followed by a screening of Guru which was Mani Ratnam’s hit in 2007.

The glitterati of Asian cinema will be incharged the events. The festival takes place from 5th to 14th March. 30 films will be screened along with a series of premieres and other special events.
