Mallika Sherawat and Dhanush, hottest vegetarians of 2011

Hot Bollywood item girl Mallika Sherawat and the ‘Kolaveri Di’ man Dhanush have been given the title of being the ‘Hottest Vegetarian Celebrities of 2011’. The title has been given by the animal rights organization People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals  (PETA).

The titles were given after thousands of people voted for their favourite actors. Apart from Mallika and Dhanush the other contenders for the title were Sonu Sood, Vidya Balan, Vivek Oberoi, Shahid Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor and Hema Malini.

Mallika while talking about being a veggie said that it is her clear conscience which is the best thing about being a vegan. While the ‘Kolavery’ singer said that being a vegetarian always made him feel healthy and that he always felt light.

Dhanush added that every time he sits to eat he is helping the environment and he is proud to be a vegetarian. The Tamil actor was already popular in the south movies but has now become a global name due to his song ‘Kolavery Di’.
