Salman Admits to Fight With Shahrukh Khan
Hell hath no fury like a Salman Khan scorned. The art of diplomacy is not what Sallu Bhai has mastered and unlike most Bollywood stars the actor is not afraid to speak his minds. In a recent interview, Salman admitted that he had a fight with King Khan aka Shahrukh Khan and here are some excerpts from the interview:
But you do know how to throw the most talked about party?
It was Katrina Kaif’s party. Maybe it’ll be talked about for decades to come but definitely not by me. I’m not going to speak about it.
But was there a fight with Shahrukh Khan?
Yeah.
What led to the fight?
Have you ever known me to speak about anybody? Whatever happened is between me and Shahrukh. It’s personal.
Is Shahrukh your friend?
Not anymore. I’m not going to deny that there are issues between us. I’m a primitive man born in today’s time. I can’t fake anything. If there is a problem then I’m not going to deny it. We’ve had problems before also but this time I don’t think we can sort them out. We are two different people. Our values and way of thinking are different. I don’t think we can be friends. I think it’s better to declare that then put on a fake faÇade of being friends and back-biting each other.
But there is a lot of shared history between you and SRK, didn’t he stay at your house in his struggling days?
(Smiles) Yeah but I’ve only been to his house twice in my life. The first time I went on my own and the second time was when he came and took me to his house for a chat.
The buzz is that professional rivalry between the two of us especially with regards, your respective shows, Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain and 10 Ka Dum, led to the fight?
No, I don’t think it’s because my show is doing better. I don’t think he’s that insecure. The reason of the fight is personal.
Is it because he refused to act in your home production, Main Aur Mrs Khanna?
Let me make it clear once and for all that Main Aur Mrs Khanna was never offered to SRK. I was always doing the film. It’s just that when Shah Rukh used to come to my home to ask me to appear on Kaun Banega Crorepati and Om Shanti Om, I just mentioned it to him that it’ll be nice if he has the time to listen to the story. That’s all.

what is the difference between sallu baba(salman) and king of the world (Shahrukh khan) salman khan is flopster his every movie is a flop and king Khan he is a block buster his every movie is blockbuster…Sharukh khan should be compared with tom cruise or nicolas kid man why u people compare him with a flopster like salman khan…

I was born & raised in NYC .. Shah Rukh over dramatic & has played the same role a million times.. He should not even be compared to Will Ferrel … Why can’t indian ppl just read & listen instead of taking jabs & choosing sides.. Like Salman said it is between him & SRK
salman is not a flopstar, not he doesn’t give many hits, he’s better than srk in ways that he chooses very different genre of projects and plays very different charcter, in other words, more variety! than compared to srk, who plays safe and does family dramas all the time, or a love story of star crossed lovers, such as recent rab ne bana di jodi, which had such a boring, usually seen concept- nothin new and interesting, whereas sallu tries new staff from an undercover hardcore cop in Wanted, to a 18th century revolutionary in Veer, in that way i prefer Salman Khan.
I believe salman to have a much stronger star presence than sharukh especially here in the uk. With regards to influence i believe his show das ka dum went to prove his influence goes far beyond that of the more mediocre and so called kings of the industry.
A star is not only made up of making commercial movies its a presence and the ability to keep an audiences attention to a movie from start to end. I believe for entertainment value i would say salman is a far more entertaining actor with movies like hum dil de chuke sanam tere naam hum aapke hain kaun wanted veergati etc and as far as the crown goes i believe no one can match the talent of aamir khan srk is a mere beginner compared to him.

both of em r really fantastic actors..some actors r good in some kind type of films..i mean sharukh s good in family or romantic films jst as some1 noted above n sallu looks awesome in films dat hv fights in it..if der r no fights or stunts,ders no use of salman khan..while on the hand though sharukh s nt gud in stunts he s good in actin..n i think datz more important..n besides he hs a good character..medias r sayin dat salman started d fight n sharukh stood still..nw dont mistake me as a sharukh khan fan ok..
nw all the bollywood starz r like a family..a joined family..kabhi kabhi jagada hota hai..its common in every family..dis is also somethin like it..it’ll settle down..
