Alec Baldwin doubts co-hosting Oscars with Steve Martin

Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin said he lost interest in hosting Oscar’s award with co-host Steve Martin as he turned fragile under pressure.

Actor was expecting Martin’s experience as comedian and former academy host would help him overcome stage fear during the award ceremony.

“I called up Steve and said, ‘Do you think we should do this?’ And he said, ‘Of course we shouldn’t do it!’ He said, ‘We’d be fools to do it, and that’s exactly why we’re going to do it – to prove everyone wrong,’” he said.

Baldwin’s worries were highlighted after the mock show, how stressed out Martin can be under pressure.

He continued “I had a lot of faith in the fact that he had done the show twice before and I thought, ‘I’m going to be fine,’ but, having worked with Steve, he scares pretty easily… he’s fragile,”
