Beyonce Postponed Her Tour for Malaysia Due to Islamic Criticism

For all Beyonce’s fans in Malaysia, I feel sorry to let you down but Beyonce Knowles had just declared that she is going to postpone her tour for Malaysia. The incident began when the nation’s Islamist party objected to her revealing costumes, provocative song lyrics and sexy dance moves. Things became worsened when suddenly her performance at Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur on October 25th when the show was suddenly cancelled by promoter Marctensia.

Marctensia tried to defend itself, though. According to Marctensia, the cancellation was purely decided by Beyonce’s people, and has anything to do with the professionalism of the promoter agency. “The postponement is solely (the) decision of the artist and has nothing to do with other external reasons,” it said.

So, anyway, I don’t think Malaysia will Malays will get to see the ‘Single Ladies’ performance anytime soon.
