Former Miss World and Bollywood heroine Priyanka Chopra will be a judge for the Miss World 2009 pageant.
The “Fashion” actress, packed her bags and went off to Johannesburg yesterday to be on the panel of judges for this prestigious event.
Priyanka Chopra shot to fame after wining the Miss World Pageant in 2000, and she then went on to become a successful Bollywood actress.
The 59th Miss World pageant takes place tomorrow – December 12, 2009 – in Johannesburg , South Africa.

Big Boss winner and bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and London based NRI businessman Raj Kundra on Tuesday bought a 12 % stake in the Indian Premier League (IPL) team Rajasthan Royals.

The couple invested $15.4 million in Rajastan royals, which was bought by London based “Emerging Media Group” for $67 million.
Shilpa called it a business investment and said: "I completely relate to Rajasthan Royals. My story is similar to the team’s journey to the top. It is an honour to be a part of Rajasthan Royals."
"Whenever the team needs me I will always pitch in. I will be the moral support of my team. The team needed an Indian owner and so I am here," she added.
Katrina Kaif has demanded a formal apology from the Shiv Sena mouthpiece newspaper ‘Saamna’ for writing that she was married to Bollywood actor Salman Khan.
This actually happened after Saamna carried a special article written by Salman’s father Salim Khan saying that his son Salman Khan has married with girlfriend Katrina Kaif.
Katrina has denied the news and now Salmans father Salim Khan says he has been misquoted by the interviewer. “Salim sahab has already said that he has been misquoted or perhaps the reporter who was taking the interview misunderstood. Let’s give the reporter a benefit of doubt that it was a mistake,” she told CNN-IBN.
