  The stand up comics are already mourning George W Bush’s departure, and now Bollywood too has its final word on the outgoing American President. A film titled The President Is Coming, based on a play and produced by Ramesh Sippy is ready to hit theatres at the end of this month.

This out of the box comedy breaks the rules in Bollywood. A digital film, this one directed by Kunal Roy Kapoor and produced by Ramesh Sippy Entertainment, has no big stars and retains the cast of the play on which it is based.

"It gives young writers a hope that when they think of different ideas, they can actually make it into a film," says producer Ramesh Sippy.

"I am actually happy that sippy films is doing commercial films and small budeget documentaries also," says Konkona Sen Sharma.

The film deals with 10 contestants who line up for a chance to shake hands with President George W Bush with its comic take on India Shining, and many other sacred cows (shot of a buffalo), shot in mock documentary style, it’s a worthy send off to the outgoing President known for his unique contribution to the English language.

So here’s the last chance to hear those classic lines as The President is Coming releases in theatres on 28 November.

Ksenia Sukhinova from Russia  has won the Miss world 2008 contest.

Ksenia Sukhinova was crowned Miss World 2008 after beating 108 other international beauties in a glittering African extravaganza held in South Africa on Saturday .

She said “I think I can help people and I want to help people and today if I walk away with this crown I will do that,” Sukhinova told judges through a translator after being asked why she should be crowned the winner.

India’s Parvathy,  said: “In India and South Africa people are warm and warm-hearted. I felt at home in Johannesburg.” “Presence of two great leaders Mahatma Gandhi (India) and Nelson Mandela (South Africa) have influenced millions of people in both the countries,” she said.

The second runner up was Gabriel Walcott of Trinidad and Tobago and the first runner up Parvathay Omanakuttan of India.

Former Miss World and Bollywood heroine Priyanka Chopra will be a judge for the Miss World 2009 pageant.

The “Fashion” actress, packed her bags and went off to Johannesburg yesterday to be on the panel of judges for this prestigious event.

Priyanka Chopra shot to fame after wining the Miss World Pageant in 2000, and she then went on to become a successful Bollywood actress.

The 59th Miss World pageant takes place tomorrow – December 12, 2009 – in Johannesburg , South Africa.

Indian Captain M.S. Dhoni is quitely gearing up to enter in Bollywood.  One of his closest sources have revealed that he would play a role in David Dhawan’s ‘Hook Ya Crook’. The film produced by UTV Motion Pictures is shedeuled to start rolling from second week of Jan, 2009. John Abraham is in lead role,

In fact, none of the sources from UTV has not disclosed anything regarding Dhoni’s role in this film. As of now, discussions are going between Dhoni and Producers and things would be finalized at the earliest. After taking india cricket to new highs  Mahindra Singh Dhoni seems all set to make his  directorial debut with ‘Hook Ya Crook’. . Buzz is also that it would be Genelia D’Souza taking the  female lead while rest of the casts is yet to be finalized.

After two back-to-back flops, Mallika Sherawat, is not finding any takers in Bollywood. But the actress is not worried. Reason? For her, Hollywood is the word now! After grabbing the lead role in a Hollywood production Hisss, she has clipped another feather on her cap. An excited Mallika talked to us about the award, “I thought it was a hoax call! It’s quite amazing to realise that an Indian actress has bagged an award in Hollywood. It’s like a handsome black man in the White House!”

Past recipients of the award include top Hollywood actresses like Salma Hayek, Halle Berry, and Monica Belluci. Mallika said modestly, “I’m certainly not in their league yet, but hopefully in ten years — when I’ve worked as long as they have, I’ll have a body of work that’s as good.”
