Says Kareena Kapoor: "Our new film ‘Main Aur Mrs Khanna’ is an intensely romantic film. I don’t think Salman has done a pure love story like this before. Neither have I. Sohail is also in the film."
Goonies fans gathered in Astoria, Oregon June 4th – 7th to celebrate the film’s 25th anniversary. Original cast members were there along with thousands of fans. Goonies 2 is in the works. A release date has not been set for the sequel.

Actress Sally Whittaker had confirmed reports that she was suffering from breast cancer. The actress explains that when she was preparing for her role in the movie she was going to play as Sally Webster, she had found a lump in her breast. As she was rehearsing the story line she discovered the lump, as the character herself is facing the same disease.
She was happy herself, as she had found the problem and went in for diagnosis for cancer. She feels that if it were not the script and the storyline she would have never discovered the disease. Sally in the movie, Christmas Day tells her husband that she has the disease and is waiting for the results. Even when her treatment was in progress, she continued working for the movie but then the story line was altered a bit that she could get some time to recover, i.e. around six months.
The actress now says that she has plans to raise funds for the ‘The Genesis Appeal and The Christie Hospital’ in Manchester, by the means of campaigns. She wanted the women to know that if they discover the disease its better to start the treatment soon as possible. She thanked her family and friends and her colleagues that they have given her time to recover from the disease and spend some time in private.

Dostana is no BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN. It’s not a serious take on homosexuality either. On the contrary, it’s a madcap comedy where two straight men pretend to be gays. Although Dostana is a mainstream commercial film, it dares to push the envelope in its own way. It brings homosexuality out of the closet, gives it respect and dignity and doesn’t treat gays as ‘abnormal’.
Love triangle in Hindi movies often centre around two guys falling in love with the same girl, or two girls choosing to love the same guy. But Dostana is a first. It’s the first Hindi film that, at the core, is a rectangle [three men loving the same woman], but two of them, guys in this case, pretend to be a couple.

Instead of being a ‘quick trip’, his visit to India becomes a journey, enabling him to know much more about his inner self, something which he was inadvertently unaware of. The movie also throws light on the multi-faceted people existing in India.
