During an interview with IANS in Mumbai on May 2 Bachachan says Blog is my extended family where I shares my day-to-day life with my fans and now i am looking forward to see the faces of those who regularly visit my blog.
Superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who completed a year of blogging April 17, doesn’t want to tag his online friends who enrich his life as “faceless”.
I dont want my fans to be faceless . ‘Faceless’ is a harsh term. I refer to them as my ‘extended family’. They live in me. They show love, affection and concern to me. They get upset at times and reprimand me… they miss me when I am not there on time. Are not all these wonderfully domesticated attributes?
“And now Big Adda (the website that hosts his blog) is developing software and my readers will be able to put up their photographs on the blog against their name. So they shall no longer be ‘faceless’,” the Big B told IANS in an interview.

The Maharashtra government on Thursday ordered cinema managements to suspend screening of films under further orders as the film industry ground to a halt following the terror strike in the city that has left at least 101 people dead.
The Maharashtra government has issued an order directing managements of both single screen theatres and multiplexes to suspend the screening of movies until further orders as a security measure.
“We have decided to close the industry for a day as a mark of tribute to those innocent people who died due to indiscriminate firings by the terrorists and to the police officers and constables who fell to their bullets during the shootout. We condemn the heinous act,” a joint statement issued by all the associations of the film industry said.
The most audacious terror strike in the city began on Wednesday night, when militants attacked high profile landmarks in the city, including the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel, Oberoi Trident Hotel, the Metro Theatre and the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Railway Station.

Indian Special Forces continue to battle militants in two Mumbai hotels in an effort to rescue hostages held inside. Dead bodies are said to litter the corridors, suggesting that the final total may be in excess of the 400 dead and wounded already estimated. The militants apparently entered through the Gateway to India and moved out across the southern peninsula of the city before attacking spots popular with tourists. These include the Taj Mahal Palace and the Trident-Oberoi Hotel.
Amitabh Bachchan described the attacks as ‘a terrible situation’ and Sharmila Tagore as ‘devastating.’ She went on to say, “I am from Mumbai. I’ve been here for so long that it was really devastating to see all that is happening in the city. There seems to be no near end to these terror activities.”
Film director Kaushik Ghatak felt this would be a big blow to Mumbai as a film-making centre. “The industry will definitely be affected,” he said, “As it is, so many producers are planning to set up their studios outside Mumbai. Even though no place is safe at the moment, repeated attacks are making the city even more unsafe. If attacks continue, people will not shoot in Mumbai.”
