A poll says that, Tom Cruise, starrer ‘Vanilla Sky’ is the most baffling movie of all time.

Vanilla Sky, starring Tom Cruise, 48, and Penelope Cruz, 36, is about dreams, love and disfigurement.
According to the survey by LoveFilm.com, David Lynch’s surreal thriller Mulholland Drive was voted into second place, while the sinister rabbit in Donnie Darko prompted cinema-goers to put it at number three.

Vanilla Sky is an American psychological thriller film from 2001 that was directed by Cameron Crowe. This film is a remake of the Spanish movie Abre los ojos (Open Your Eyes) (1997).

Vanilla Sky has been variously characterized by film critics as an odd mixture of science fiction, romance, and reality warp.
Actors in Vanilla Sky include Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Penelope Cruz (in a repeat of her performance in Abre los ojos), Jason Lee, and Kurt Russell.

The star-studded musical “Nine” bites the dust

It gained early success on the awards circuit, but the star-studded musical “Nine” will likely be pulled back from hundreds of smaller U.S. cities, after disappointing box office and lackluster reviews. “Nine” was one of the most anticipated movies of the year and cost an estimated $64 million to produce. But it finished eighth at the North American box office on its second week last weekend with a modest $5.5 million in ticket sales.
