Rituparno Ghosh’s The Last Lear sees Amitabh Bachchan dabbling in Shakespeare. The film revolves around a theater thespian (Bachchan) who is on his deathbed. The Last Lear premiered at the 2007 Toronto International Film Festival on September 9 and also stars Preity Zinta, Arjun Rampal, Divya Dutta, Shefali Shah and Jisshu Sengupta.
